It's true. Go to msn.com and click on the link "Earn $1 million more on your 401(k)" under the financial news column. You will be wisked away to a porn site. Doesn't do this under IE. Pretty sneaky Microsoft....

that's so. WEIRD.
when i do it in IE it comes up with a cannot be displayed page.
but that could be because my IE is very fucked up

1. it doesn't have a .com/.net etc in the internet address
2. he's always been weary of .asp sites because those types of files tend to run applications on your computer without your permission. because it doesn't have a .com it doesnt require that it has to be registered to anyone specific, so it could be just someone's computer at home.
3. firefox is a intranet based browser, while internet explorer is internet based, thus is why internet explorer doesn't show that site [it requires the site to have a .com/.whatever]
